Information given by you: We collect information you provide to us which includes:
your name, email address, payment method(s), telephone number, and other identifiers you might use (as login name or on portal name) We collect this information in a number of ways, including when you enter it while using our service, interact with our customer service, or participate in surveys or marketing promotions;
Information when you choose to provide ratings, taste preferences, account settings (including preferences set in the “Account” section of our website), or otherwise provide information to us through our service or elsewhere.
Information we collect automatically: We collect information about you and your use of our service, your interactions with us and our advertising, as well as information regarding your network, network devices, and your computer or devices you might use to access our service (such as online radio, gaming systems, smart TVs, mobile devices, set top boxes, and other streaming media devices).
This information includes:
Your activity on our sit, such as selections, shows you have watched, search you made, and genre selections;
Your interactions with our emails and texts, and with our messages through push and online messaging channels;
details of your interactions with our customer service, such as the date, time and reason for contacting us, transcripts of any chat conversations, and if you call us, your phone number and call recordings;
device IDs or other unique identifiers, including for your network devices, and devices that are with VMAS ASIA supported on your Wi-Fi network;
device and software characteristics (such as type and configuration), connection information including type (wifi, cellular), statistics on page views, referring source (for example, referral URLs), IP address (which may tell us your general location), browser and standard web server log information;
Information from other sources: We also obtain information from other sources. We protect this information according to the practices described in this Privacy Statement, plus any additional restrictions imposed by the source of the data. These sources vary over time, but could include:
service providers that help us determine a location based on your IP address in order to customize our service and for other uses consistent with this Privacy Statement;
payment service providers who provide us with payment or balance information, or updates to that information, based on their relationship with you;
online and offline data providers, from which we obtain aggregated demographic, interest based and online advertising related data;
publicly-available sources such as publicly available posts on social media platforms and information available through public databases associating IP addresses with internet service providers (ISPs);
Payment Information: We may or may not collect your Name, Address and Payment method when you subscribe to our portal site or applications and avail our services. We do not store your Credit/Debit card details such as card number, expiry date or other details on your cards provided by you at the time of transaction with VMAS ASIA’s services as well as during the subscription too. These details may be collected by our online payment partners and those as trustworthy partners.
Account Security: We use security measures to protect the loss, misuse, and unauthorized alteration of the information under our control. Please be advised, however, that we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent disruptions or unauthorized access from occurring.
You are solely responsible for (a) maintaining the security of your account(s) and (b) all activity that occurs under your account(s). You must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access to or use of your account(s). If you forget your account login information, you may request that we send it to the email address associated with your account(s).
To the Public: We may publicly disclose aggregated user statistics and other information, which is not considered personal information.
Your Privacy Rights: You may change your account information or close your account(s) at any time by logging into your account and selecting account settings. If you close an account, you may lose access to video programming that you have purchased. We may preserve your account information (i) for a period of time in case of accidental deletion or in case you change your mind; and (ii) where we believe in good faith that preservation is required by law or necessary to enforce our rights.
Children’s Privacy: VMAS ASIAs does not knowingly collect any personal information from individuals under the age of 16. If you are a parent or legal guardian who has discovered that your child has provided personal information through the VMAS ASIAs OTT Service without your consent, you can ask us to remove such unauthorized information by contacting us at [email protected]
Dispute Resolution: We are committed to working with you to obtain a fair resolution of any complaint. We encourage you to begin by contacting our Data Protection Officer. We endeavor to respond to requests promptly.
